OUR PROCESS
dsc starts with a comprehensive design process where we meet with the client multiple times to discuss budget, aesthetics and present designs and texture boards. once decisions have been made technical shop drawings are produced and fabrication begins. all our cabinet carcasses utilize 3/4“ cabinet grade plywood. drawer boxes are fabricated out of either baltic birch or solid maple depending on which type of joint is desired. other woods are offered depending on the overall design aesthetic and budget. our paint grade doors are fabricated out of kiln dried hard maple, with cabinet grade plywood centre panels. once doors are fabricated they are put through our spray booth receiving multiple coats of primer and lacquer finish, stain and clear coat, or a fine sanding and a penetrating oil application in the clients desired finish. once checked for any possible defects everything is carefully wrapped for transport to the client and installed. installs can take days or weeks depending on the complexity of the project, but no matter how long dsc always try’s to be as least impactful to the clients life as possible. in all, dsc offers a fully customizable millwork experience from the type of wood used to the type of finish.
